Trout Lake — Attempted Recovery of No. 0355

An expedition mounted to recover a copy of Ticket to Ride from a cottage. Unsuccessful. Morale poor.
The Society mounted a recovery operation for No. 0355, last confirmed at a cottage on Trout Lake in the summer of 2019.
The cottage was located without difficulty. The occupants were cooperative and, we believe, sincere. A search of the games cupboard produced Sorry!, two incomplete jigsaw puzzles, and a Scrabble set missing every blank tile. No Ticket to Ride.
The occupants advanced the theory that the item had been lent onward to a third party at some point in 2020, which — if true — means it has passed out of the ledger entirely and into a category the Charter does not currently contemplate. Article 9 is under review.
No. 0355 has been reclassified as unrecovered. The Society does not close such files, but it does stop reopening them.
